Be Present in Nature…

The declaration “Being Present in Nature” is not entirely original, it is a common theme found in various contexts such as a mantra delicately displayed on the wall of a yoga studio or their website, and even on merchandise like t-shirts or mugs.  The essence of being present in nature revolves around experiencing an authentic sense of peace and tranquility while outdoors, particularly during activities like walking or hiking.  I enjoy pushing myself to make it up a challenging ascent or to take in the breath-taking view one can only get from the top of a mountain.  One step at time on a remote trail completely shifts my energy bringing a profound sense of tranquility along with a total release from worries and stress.

The act of hiking, whether for one mile or fifteen miles has the power to shift one’s state of mind creating an invisible bubble of bliss.
